Monolith has quickly become one of my favorite bands. The amount of talent and dedication they put into making such pleasant and exciting music shows in each album they release. Music that appeals to the spirit, the heart, and the mind is a blessing, and that is certainly what you will hear in Nexus. As with their previous albums, there is great balance between the various musical elements they combine, even as they have explored these elements in greater depth in this release. Truly excellent! gmt41690
I was very impressed by this debut! It was nice to hear so much contrast, balance, variety, and catchiness they showed in this album. Great integration of orchestral elements. Really digging how rhythmically tight they are. Great production, very clean playing, and great variety of sound colors. I would happily recommend this to anyone who likes progressive metal. Greatly looking forward to hearing their other albums, and hopeful they will continue to make more! gmt41690
I bought the album on vinyl basically just to have the EP on physical format, I'll be honest.
This is not to say the album is bad (it is absolutely amazing) but the EP blew me away and is honestly one of the best and most versatile albums I've listened to in a while and the vocals are just insanely good.
If you like ExLibris you'll love this band too, no doubt thebluemeanie

I discover Monolith since the first album. Each song and album is a piece of beauty in my ears. The mix between metal sounds, orchestral sounds is just perfect. Lyrics inspiring. This band deserves it. Buy the album :D kuun-lann
